itu tadi lagu-lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh seorang pemuji dan penyembah yang dipakai Tuhan luar biasa, Sidney Mohede .....

nih sedikit info tentang Sidney Mohede :) 

Sidney Mohede kita kenal sebagai seorang Worship Leader dan penulis lagu rohani yang berpengaruh saat ini. Lagu-lagunya yang powerful - namun sangat intim, sangat dikenal dan telah membawa perubahan dalam Pujian dan Penyembahan.

Sidney menerima Yesus saat menjadi remaja di Los Angeles dan mulai memimpin ibadah untuk kelompok pemuda dari sebuah gereja lokal di California selatan. Pada tahun 1995, setelah satu dekade tinggal di Amerika Serikat, ia menjawab panggilan Allah untuk kembali ke kota kelahirannya, Jakarta, di mana ia menemukan tujuan sejati nya sesuai bakatnya dalam musik. Ia tertanam dalam gereja lokal, dan bergabung di persekutuan anak muda Jakarta Praise Youth Center Department (JPCYM).

Sejak kembali ke Indonesia, Sidney telah memproduksi dan terlibat lebih dari 35 album. Mulai dari Giving My Best (GMB) album, sampai True Worshipper. Ia adalah seorang penulis lagu yang produktif. Bahkan ia juga menulis lebih dari 200 lagu.

Pada tahun 2008, Sidney dikontrak sebagai salah satu penulis lagu oleh Insight Unlimited Publishing, dan pada tahun 2011, Insight Unlimited Publishing telah bermitra dengan tiga perusahaan musik paling menonjol di dunia saat ini: EMICMG Publishing (meliputi Amerika Utara), Brettian Publishing (meliputi Afrika), dan KI Publishing (meliputi Australia, Selandia Baru dan Eropa).

Selama lebih dari satu dekade, banyak dari lagunya telah akrab bagi gereja Indonesia, dan baru-baru ini lagu Sidney mulai diakui secara internasional. Orang-orang percaya di Korea Selatan, India, Australia, Belanda, Amerika Serikat, Afrika Selatan dan penjuru dunia lain menyanyikan dalam ibadah mereka lagu "Hosana (Be Lifted High)", chorus lagu yang ditulis Sidney pada tahun 2009 di True Worshippers album "God is Our Victory", oleh Israel Houghton chorus lagu itu ditulis dalam albumnya “Love God Love People” . Album tersebut telah meraih Grammy Award 2011 untuk Best Pop / Contemporary Album Kristen.

Sejauh ini, Sidney tidak pernah melihat dirinya sebagai 'seniman Kristen”, tetapi semata-mata sebagai Worship Leader. Baginya, tidak ada artinya mengembangkan sebuah 'karir' atau nama untuk dirinya sendiri, tetapi tentang menemukan bakatnya yang diberikan Tuhan dan tujuan hidup yang penuh dengan gairah. Ia juga sangat bergairah akan gereja lokal, ia tertanam di JPCYM dan terus bertumbuh di Jakarta Praise Community Church atau JPCC. JPCC adalah sebuah gereja yang berkembang pusat kota Jakarta. Faktanya, team True Woshipper adalah orang-orang yang berada dalam pelayanan musik di JPCC, termasuk Sidney dirinya sebagai Worship Leader dan Creative Director .

Sebagai ucapan syukurnya dan penghargaan atas anugrah dan kasih Allah selama 20-tahun pelayanan dalam pujian dan penyembahan, Sidney (didukung penuh oleh keluarga JPCC) menyelenggarakan Konser tunggal pertama "Louder Than Life" di Jakarta pada 20 Mei 2010. Dia memilih 22 lagu 'terbaik' dan dibantu musisi terampil lain. Dia menata ulang dan disajikan dalam stlye baru (termasuk rock, rap, akustik dan orkestra). Album Live concert yang telah dirilis tersebut sampai saat ini masih tetap menjadi catatan terlaris.

Pada awal 2011 Sidney telah mulai pra-produksi proyek berikutnya berjudul "The Rescue", yang semua rekaman dalam bahasa Inggris / internasional dan dijadwalkan akan segera rilis.
Baru-baru ini Konser bersama Sidney telah mendapatkan rekor Muri , penghargaan diberikan sebagai konser terbesar di Indonesia .

Sidney saat ini tinggal di Jakarta dengan Etha istri dan dua anaknya, Ethan dan Chelsea.
